Landscape

Landscape, as a result of natural and artificial factors and of their interrelations, is the object of intervention policies that are guided by a logic of systemic integration of goods and territory. Generally, the interventions geared towards wide scale transformations or restorations lie outside the Compagnia’s possibilities of action, because of their size or because they imply deeper modifications of public policies. Instead, a more feasible line of action is that of exemplary interventions whose sizes are limited, or that of documenting and researching: thus, a specific commitment will be dedicated to the knowledge of landscape-environmental sites or systems, in historical, cultural, and naturalistic terms, in order to find the ideal point of balance between restoration, preservation, and transformation.
In this way, the Compagnia intends to give its contribution to the development of an operational culture of landscape in its territories of reference, starting from urban, rural, natural or, as is typical of the Italian situation, mixed examples.
