Istituto Superiore Mario Boella
ISMB is a no-profit research and innovation center operating in the Information and Communication Technologies sector. ISMB was created in 2000 by the two Founding Members Compagnia di San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino. The Institute, operational since 2003, employs today about 150 researchers with high-level competencies in the main ICT fields of application, working on about 55 R&D projects.
The mission is to operate in concrete terms on “knowledge management – from creation to innovative implementation” together with private enterprises, institutions and public administration, pursuing technological and process innovation at the same time.
