Business generation

The Torino Chamber of Commerce and the Compagnia di San Paolo have set up, through the Istituto Superiore Mario Boella, “job grants” for young people with a high potential research and knowledge business plan previously approved by I3P.

Torino, 5 July 2011 - Helping young graduates or PhD students who have achieved research results which are potentially interesting for the market, thanks to “job grants”: this is the ambitious aim of  “Generazione impresa” (Business generation), a project promoted by the Torino Chamber of Commerce and the Compagnia di San Paolo, together with the contribution of I3P, the business incubator of the Politecnico di Torino, and the Istituto Superiore Mario Boella.
In the Torino area, there are in fact highly educated young people who would like to set up their own business but lack the means to support themselves during the period between the end of their studies and the start-up of their firm: the time necessary for transforming the idea into the product and thus the planning of a firm which can be successful.
Thanks to the Torino Chamber of Commerce and the Compagnia di San Paolo which provide the financial backing of the 80 thousand euro grants, ISBM – Istituto Superiore Mario Boella – is offering up to 8 “job grants”, equal to 20 thousand euro gross annually each, for those young people whose business plan has already been analysed and approved by the I3P incubator.
