The Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo join the capital of Banca Prossima along with Intesa Sanpaolo

Thursday 16th June sees the press conference at the Banca Prossima premises announcing three foundations’ participation in the Banca Prossima’s capital. The participation of the three foundations, which are oriented towards supporting projects of social utility and public interest, will favour synergies and the exchange of competences, as well as strengthening the collaboration on common projects that have already started.
Banca Prossima is the first European bank exclusively dedicated to the third sector. It is totally independent of Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo and in three and a half years of activity has grown by 60% annually, has fourteen thousand customers, has erogated 800 million euros in credit and collected 1.4 billion Euros from its clientele, made up exclusively of non-profit organizations in the whole of Italy.
