Student inmates begin a new academic year

On 30th November Luigi Morello is taking part in the opening of the new academic year at the ‘Lorusso e Cutugno’ penitentiary together with Ezio Pelizzetti, Gian Carlo Caselli and Pietro Buffa.
The Compagnia di San Paolo confirms its support of the initiative to which, over the last 12 years, it has given 260 thousand Euros.
The university complex gives inmates the right to study even at university level and favours their re-socialization. The initiative helps inmates get into university courses in Political Sciences and Law; its aim is to create different ways to for them to make use of the alternatives to their prison sentences, ie: for good behaviour, active participation and passing set exams.
