MITOR Project - Internship grants
The MITOR Project supports research collaborations and exchanges between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Politecnico di Torino (POLITO). Launched in 2009, thanks to the generous support of the Compagnia di San Paolo, the MITOR Project provides more than 200,000 dollars a year in seed funds for faculty collaborations, workshops, and research stays at POLITO for MIT graduate students and Ph.D's, and at MIT for POLITO Ph.D students and post-docs. Young faculty from both institutions are also eligible, for research stays up to one semester. The Project also provides small grants for MIT students who intern at POLITO labs and spinoffs.
